Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Buyer, Sourcing Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate and administer supplier contracts, ensuring effective
communication and cost savings
Collaborate with stakeholders to meet procurement requirements and
support supplier relationship management
Assist in training and developing team members while supporting
audit activities and compliance with contract requirements
Required Qualifications
BA/BS or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant
procurement experience, or a Master's with 6+ years
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR) and
experience with various contract types
Preferred knowledge in government, municipal, and commercial
contracts
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment
Experience with CostPoint is preferred
