Job Description:
A company is looking for a Loan Counselor responsible for
collecting delinquent loan payments to minimize delinquencies and
foreclosures.
Key Responsibilities
Contact borrowers in early stages of delinquency to remedy
defaults
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for the collections
process
Create and mail loss mitigation letters and financial packages as
requested by the borrower
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma (or equivalent) required
Previous experience in mortgage loan servicing desired
Previous experience in collections and/or default servicing
desired
