Job Description:
A company is looking for an Ombudsman to provide advocacy and
equitable resolutions for student issues within the university.
Key Responsibilities
Create and implement a strategic vision for the Office of
Ombudsman
Manage staff, including recruitment, performance management, and
staffing plans
Administer the complaint management system and ensure timely
responses to student inquiries
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Terminal degree preferred or master's degree with a minimum of 10
years leading an Ombuds department
Minimum of five years management or leadership experience
Experience in Conflict Resolution and/or Mediation
Knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation regulations
applicable to the education industry
Ability to think and plan strategically
