Job Title: Psychiatric Registered NurseMedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients with mental health issues, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
• Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff to deliver comprehensive patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
• Administer and monitor psychotropic medications, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, empowering them to manage maladaptive behaviors and promote healthy lifestyle changes.
• Exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations, maintaining a professional demeanor and prioritizing patient well-being.Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS Certifications
  • At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Psychiatric setting
  • Other requirements to be determined by our client facilityBenefits
