Job Title: Physical Therapy AssistantAlternate Solutions Health Network LLC is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Kansas City, Kansas.Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients in their homes.Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled physical therapy services as ordered by the attending physician, observing and monitoring patient conditions and notifying the Physical Therapist of any changes.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance using physical means, such as exercise, massage, heat, water, etc.
• Assess functional problems and provide intervention and, in conjunction with the Physical Therapist, work toward goals to improve patient functional status.
• Counsel patients and families on the disease/injury and how to manage in all phases of physical therapy.
• Complete all clinical documentation following agency protocol and Medicare/Federal guidelines.Requirements:
  • Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with current license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a PTA in an acute care setting. Home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
